[Linux] NS2 Polish font bug

Hi I have little bug.

When I set Polish lang in game i see that




There are missing signs, like:

In second position (in English "Quick join") i see "Szybko do" but should be "Szybko dołącz"


When should be some Polish signs there words are cut



Some fix?

Sadly a known linux issue with certain utf8 chars, maybe going to be fixed with the next build but i can't promise you anything. There is somewhere here already a thread about it with german chars but currently I'm unable to find it.

Overall be aware that the linux version of ns2 should better be reviewed as a beta or something like that and has quiet a few issues sadly.

As I understand it, it's not, like, some UTF-8 chars but more like all chars outside the ASCII codepoint range, including everything above 0x7F: western-european chars (like those in Polish with diacritics of all kinds) and cyrillics. The text cuts itself on any of those chars and nothing after it is printed, be it other non-printable chars or just the ASCII ones. You can read the chat in the console (press ~ while ingame) but as for the interface I suggest using English there for now.
