Exactly HOW to use them...
to be going to the point...

too much trouble getting to work and trying to figure out how to use babblers and blink.

blink... not entirely sure how that is done... u press primary fire on fade morph while pointing where u wanna go... then what??? most of the time i just stay in the spot... help on that plz???

babblers... press the primary fire button with gorge and then whats supposed 2 happen??? i've seent hem used succesfully twice b4... but didn't see them do anything really... AI is pretty... well... stupid... one time i was marine and making a turret, and there wer about 4 standing around doing nothing at all but running into walls... until the turret was up... then they started attacking it... but that STILL doesn't solve how to create them... i dont' mind the AI... just as long as they amuse me as my creation...

just a little halp on blink and babblers plz?

P.S... why doesn't the previous weapon bind work???

Blink also works better if you jump then duck then blink.

babblers only work when you have 3 hives.

same with all creatures, the last ability cant be used until the last hive is built. fade=bile bomb, gorge=babblers (spawns lots of minions to help ya),lerk=area damage over time,

and the second last one cant be used until 2nd hive is built, like leap(skulk) or webbing(gorge),blink(fade, teleport).

i might be wrong, and it might have something to do with what evolve chambers that are up

I've yet to see babblers kill anybody. Even sending them against structures all they do is stand there. I've started to just use them to wear down marines' ammo so I can spit at them.

I've killed quite a few marines with babblers, just spit alot of webs both infront and behind the marines so they cant avoid getting stuck then send a bunch of babblers at em... that's pretty fun

To get the previous weapon bind working you need to go to your config file in the hl/ns directory and fix it. The line should look like this when you're done : bind "MWHEELDOWN" "invprev"

As for blink, jump and crouch before pressing the button. It'll raise your success rate a LOT.

babblers. Are similar to snarks in HL. However, because they have a MUCH larger hitbox, they are subject to checks from NS. NS will try to create the babbler just in front of your gorge in whatever direction you are aiming. If there isn't room (AKA, the babbler would clip into another hitbox, brush, or possibly an entinity like a wall) the babbler simply won't appear, even though you still pay energy for it. The best way to fire babblers is to aim about 60 degrees up first. This makes it hard to see what you are doing, but makes sure the babblers actually appear and get a good head-start because they are spawned in the air.

Babblers work well aginst webbed marines.... very well. simply web the marine a few times (two or three at most) then unleash the wrath of the 3-4 babblers upon them, and watch them get chewed to death. Note that babblers are almost exactly like snarks... their explosion at the end also damages marines. Thusly, if a marine is surrounded by your babblers, but they explode (or are shot), he'll still take 40 damage each from the explosions... many times I've killed a carless marine because I shot him with babblers while he was concentrating on a turret. He shoots the babblers and they explode, killing him.

When firing off babblers, I use the following method:

I jump up and tilt my view slightly upward. Then while near the apex of the jump I fire off the babbler. If I'm close enough to a corner, the babbler will hit the ground past the wall and run off towards a marine while I'm safe under cover. I also have known this to work well from behind offense chambers.

I've killed more than one marine using babblers. If used in such a manner with adreneline, you can form such a horde around a marine that they empty their guns, are distracted as hell, and then the babblers start exploding around them. They also (as I've said in other posts) can be used in a steady stream to keep turrets occupied.

It takes a little work, but I do really like babblers. Certainly you aren't going to be able to rush up to a group of HA.
