Sliding weekly average player count

On http://unknownworlds.com/ns2/ it says "xxx People Playing".
I'd like to see the sliding weekly average player count shown as well (either next to the above stat, or as a mouse-over tooltip). This would give a better picture of the general player base and trends therein.
Player count could be recorded once every 30 minutes, and saved in a 336 field array on the server (24x2x7). Updates would be made on a sliding basis, meaning that e.g. the reading from 7AM Friday of this week would replace that of 7AM Friday from last week. The total would be averaged and displayed on the UI.
