For those who care about the next NS2 competitive events, you should already know that there's an incoming Season 5 and, like in all the previous tournaments, NSL is looking for some new Referees.

Actually, there's a bunch of current Referees (who joined us the last season or even before), some of them just left and this is why we're going to need more people to help us during Season 5. You can check out who is already in on the Staff page: http://www.ensl.org/about/staff

We want, as in the previous Season, to have enough people in the staff as Referees & Shoutcasters to cast and referee all the matches. This is our purpose. I'm pretty sure there are some teams that know this feeling of being left alone and we really wish to avoid all this.

If you want to join us, you should fulfill these conditions:

- To be 18 or mature enough to referee some NS League matches
- To know the NSL rules, not by heart, but be able to refer to them if needed.
- To have a sense of justice, equity, while staying calm when you have to deal with contentious problems.
- To be able to speak English.

Here's some points from the Referee Guide you'll have to follow once you've joined us.

- You must know the NSL rules, know how to interpret them if needed, and do not hesitate to ask for the opinion of another Referee, the League Admin or the Referee Admin if you have any doubt, a question or if you can’t solve a problem by yourself.
You must referee at least 3 matches per season. If you’re not active enough for the NSL, you’ll be dismissed of your functions. Of course you can be taken back if you have more time or motivation.
- You must tell the concerned teams that you’ll be present before the match.
- Your duty is to make sure the match you’re refereeing goes well and resolve any problem that could appear while remaining calm. Fairplay, good behaviour and respect must be assured on the server.
- Remain in spectator mode the whole game. Make sure no one is cheating and everyone respects the NSL rules in general.
