So CDT... how hard would it be to change the arc/obs/cyst/whatever range indicator so that it projects onto the terrain, like a decal, rather than being a flat circle floating... occasionally passing underneath the terrain so you don't have a clue if it's hitting something in a room that's higher up from where you're placing the thing in question.
For example, the arc range indicator right now is difficult to see in say... Descent if you're arcing Hydroanalysis from that room just to the west (forgot the name). The circle hovers far below the terrain in hydroanalysis, so you can't easily tell exactly what it can hit, and what is out of range.
