Why Do Alien Players Suck So Much Lately?

Now i allready got used to it that in most games if i look after 20 sec on the scoreboard i see 7 gorges and one skulk (me) and i also got used to see gorges building hundreds of offensive chambers without a sinlge defensive chamber (so they are wasting lots of resources for a structure even a lmg/la marine can take out without to much problems).
But now it gets really frustrating. I just played a game where we had 2 hives and in the third the marines had removed their main base to. There were a full set of marine structures including cc, 2 siege guns and lots of turrets of course. I evolved skulk, took out the last turret factory (bad placed), gave teamsay that turrets at hive are down and munched a few turrets. A fade joined me so i evolved to gorge to build some defensive for hive. I had allready built 3 off and 3 dev chambers and another fade allready joined us as some marines came to protect the remains of their now main base. Then i had to realize that 1. the fade stoped taking out the other marine structures (esp the cc) and 2. the two fades, instead of taking out a few marines with def tower backup, decided to hide behind the off chambers, the def chambers and of course the gorge (me). So of course the marines had no prob in taking out the off chambers, the def chambers and after that me (fades were still hiding behind me). I think after i died they ran away (since they did not have a gorge shield anymore) and let them rebuild their base in our third hive. As i came back there after respawning turrets were allready up again.
Honestly the last few games i played i had the feeling the more dangerous enemies are the other aliens and not the marines.


So here a few suggestions:

The early part of the game:
The only chance to win against a team of good marines (and winning after a few mins vs bad marines) is to keep them under pressure, force them to waste resources and best not letting them leave the base. If all in the alien team are gorge you can not do that (i am not even speaking of how slow resources will be for each gorge then). Btw, a lerk with one hive is nothing more than a complete waste of resources. A skulk can do nearly everything a lerk with 1 hive can do and most of it even better. And a skulk costs 0 rp, a lerk 33 (which are a lot if you can not even afford to put one hive up).


Later in the game:

If you are running around as fade, DON'T HIDE BEHIND GORGES!!! Don't run away from anything unless you have low health and know were the next def chamber is. If you see marines fire on your structures, don't hide behind them firing some acid rockets against walls in the hope the splash dmg will hit someone. Go and take the marine, you are a fade and no **obscenity** **obscenity**!!!
