hi,
I thought i was making mistakes and stuff but it happens too many times for me.
I use to be really careful with layers and stuff. So i have lots of layers and most of the time they are hidden.
Here's some screenshots taken in the editor on geometry that was NOT modified by me and resting in their own layer. Then i found them like that.
This is the 3D Circle gone squared. A breakthrough in compression algorithm.
A window goes wild
While her sister stays put
Another window gone wild. We clearly see some geometry is changed but not the glass one.
It happens apparently more frequently.
My opinion on that is that is can be a bug in the file that make the editor go nuts.
Whatever the reason there are some checking to do.
See... The file is generated by the Editor. Or maybe some issue with the builder (when rebuilding).
I always use the launchpad then launch Editor from there. And if needed the Builder.
How can i check the health of the file ?
Any tool available in order to check deep inside the .level files ? Would be a thing to include in the builder sequence.
edit: Oh and every time there was a collision geometry (in the group) around.
I suppose that's a job for the CDT!

If it was me it would have changed the geometry preserving the shape. moving or scaling. In this case we clearly see that it is destructive.
