Server mod is out of date

I'm getting these messages lately. I connect to a server, then it disconnects prompting "Server mod is out of date".
Most servers are my regulars so i don't know what is messing it up suddenly.

Any ideas?

It means that you've auto-downloaded newer version of some mod already (before launching the game), while match was in progress on server, so server couldn't update that mod. It is usually updated on map change, so you will have to wait 1-60 minutes.

It mostly happens on server running ns2+, it updates frequently (which is good).

Strange, try deleteing your workshop folder ? And try again, if that dose not work un-sub from your mods and re-sub to them again and see if that helps

Yes, most of the times it's because you've downloaded the latest update of a mod while the server running the mod hasn't yet.

If the servers are set up correctly, a map change will force the update which should allow you to join thereafter. Mendasp loves breaking NS2+ so he kindly put a notifier that pops up in game letting people know a server map change is in order.

It notifies of any mod that needs updating, I just tend to update more often :(

I hadn't updated in 4 days, it used to be once a day at least :D
