Alt+tab and Windowed mode

Can we get improved the alt+tab speed or remove the input lag playing in windowed mode? I usually tend to throw games in windowed fullscreen mode if the alt+tab speed is slow, but for some reason this game gives some pretty bad input lag in windowed mode.
