Hi guys, I'm starting this thread so as to request some attention from the game's devs.
I've already created a message in the Steam Community of NaturalSelection2, though it seems like noone really paid any mind to it.
Let me re-explain my situation here:
I've been unable to play any games since the day I bought this game, back in 2013.
At first, the game used to start normally and crash after firing a bullet during a game session.
It's been a long time now and the game doesn't even launch (had an issue with a non installed 32bit library which prevented the game from starting).
Piece of info for some 64bit people with non-starting clients:
The problem might be that you're missing the 32bit libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 .
For Debian users, what you need to do is install libgtk2.0-0:i386. For anyone else, just consult your distro's repositories or package manager and find out the package that includes the 32bit libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.
Back to my case, now the game launches and hangs at the loading screen (Compiling 'shaders/Model.surface_shader').
Here's my log and system_options:
http://pastie.org/8919087
http://pastie.org/8919090
I'm using Catalyst 13.35.5 (from debian jessie repos).
Please look into it, there's a lot of people complaining/being unable to play the game.
