Hi, I just redownloaded NS2 afther a loong period without a windows machine.
I haven't run NS2 on this machine before, and its a pretty old machine with a new graphic card.

Extra info:
I dont get a loading screen, and when the menu screen should be rendered it's completely black.
The game is running fine with sound and mouse events, I can hear the mouseover clicks when I drag the mouse over the menu items, only I can't see anything.

Here is my logfile.

I'v seen through the other posts about this, but none of them had this kind of error log and nothing of the methods that helped them worked for me.

I'v deleted the Natural Selection 2 folder in %appdata%, deleted local conten on steam and reinstalled NS2, but this didn't help either.

A side note is that I have a developer version on PhysX installed on my machine, but this shouldn't be a problem I'd guess?

Big chunk of dxdiag data:

I hope this will help you if there is a bug, or help you help me.

Cheers, Destidom.

Edit: Extra info, added the zip file created from Techsupport.exe

    Hunh.. weird..
    "Error: PhysX: Invalid Cuda context!"
As you probably saw given your mentioning of physx - Usually only happens for AMD cards, Nvidia cards shouldn't have any issues.
I'd definitely start there, though.. attempt uninstalling it and installing the version required for NS2. (should be located in "redist" folder in your ns2 installation, if not you can download it)

p.s. you should try running your desktop resolution and refresh rate in your monitor's native res and refresh rate: 1920 x 1080(p) (60.000Hz) versus what you are using : 1680 x 1050 (32 bit) (59Hz)

Thank you for your reply @Ironhorse, changing the resolution fixed the problem.(I feel kinda stupid that I didn't try that straight away!)
I also don't get the PhysX context problem now.

    Again thank you very much!

    Edit:
Whoops, spoke to soon, still get the PhysX invalid Cuda context, will try to reinstall it.
    Though it is playable :)

    Awesome, glad that worked. :)
This is why providing that techsupport file is so useful, so thanks for making it easy!
