Requests For Banning Players?

Come on guys, we have been through this before with CS. Posting a request for other admins to add a player's wonid to their ban file or creating a database of wonids is not the way to do things. Cheaters - HLGuard and VAC (as soon as it works with NS ) will take care of this problem. Punks (as I like to call them) - they are what they are, just ban them from your server and when they go to another and cause problems, they will get banned there as well.
The whole idea of a master ban file just will not work. Remember the "blacklist"? Well, all it takes is a bad admin to gather alot of wonids and fix his server logs to make it look like that player(s) was cheating. Then they were added to the list. Best thing to do, as we at Jett have done, was to get to know a few clans and associate ourselves with them to the point to where we trust each others judgement and share ban files, logs, and anything else that we ask of each other. That is how you weed out the trash.
So, please do not start or continue posts requesting that a player's wonid be banned because you "might" think they are cheating. Remember, some day somebody might think the same about you.

even IF there are admins that know each other, a public forum is NOT the correct place to post cheating accusations
every owner of notepad and paintshop can fabricate "evidence" with ease and ruin people's reputations for good with false accusations
Furthermore I love how flippantly people say "Ya know, anyone with a paint program can modify screen shots." Yeah, we know. Do you know how much time and skill it takes to modify screen shots so it doesn't look like they are modified? Apparently not. People seem to forget that the names are printed with a transparant background over the action in the game. That means it isn't just a simple case of erase and replace. No, one needs to erase as little as possible, maybe shift what is being said to fit the new name (darn those perportional fonts) replace the name with a new one with the right color (which, btw, is not a simple replace, look at the letters closely to figure out why) and then replicate the background in such a manner to avoid looking fake. That's a couple of hours of work, minimum, per picture.
Sorry if I tend to go with Occum's Razor on this one when it comes to multiple reports, esp. with screenshots. Don't like it, tough. I certainly don't believe that since there are 500 or so NS servers that the likes of Pee Pee Boy or Hardee (both of which, BTW, I've seen on other servers) needs to visit each one individually to be banned on each one. At some point it is better for the playing public at large to be notified and for them to simply be banned as a preventative measure.
And screenshots (even transparent) can be faked. I have seen a tutorial and a programm for manipulating pictures. It is easy and takes a little bit time. You cant see that it is a fake.
Yeah, and? Isn't that exactly what I just said. I'd call a couple of hours "takes a little bit of time." Geez. BTW, cites? I can say that I can get a 99-0 score every game as a skulk and nothing else, it is far better to offer proof. Where's yours?
