Just as a FYI, I have posted previously about having back-ups of NS2 code from builds 193-225. As it turns out, while searching through my NS2 directory, under the builds folder, there is a archive of all ns2 builds from 227-262. So for anyone looking for an old NS2 build, check there first.

After that, if you need anything older, ask me and I may be able to help.

    Those builds don't actually contain any useful code. What's useful is other resources from the builds like cinematic and maps.

    LOL, what do you mean don't contain any useful code? Someone was chasing me to see if I had build 227, as they need it for a bug fix.

    I'd say being able to fix a bug using the LUA in those files makes them pretty useful wouldn't you?

    The problem is iirc that the number of the build isnt actually accurate.

    I am not going to fix anything, and as it turned out, they actually wanted assets, which I supplied from 225.

    Knowing the code is there means modders have additional bits of code to investigate to work hout how things were done, and maybe take advantage of things that were removed from NS2 to use in their own mods etc. You cannot underestimate the power of having source code available.
