    Yep, Big Unannounced System was at least one name it went by. Big buildup that, as far as I know, never came to be. Dont know of any of the devs ever revealed what this nugget of NS1 nostalgia was meant to become. Maybe its best left that way.

    Still un-named, though the arguments I've seen in this thread are pointing towards 'Organised Play' and 'Server Browser' replacing what is available in the test

    Server Browser is also pretty missleading because "gather" is not really a server browser, it's a system where you can try to find ppl for your custom setup game.

    So if ppl don't like Gather or PUG which would name imho the current system best i would be okay using 'Organised Play' for it.

    Just for me that word sound somehow strange but i'm not a native english speaker so maybe that's just me.

    Yeah server browser would be quite a terrible name. A server browser is what you get when you click the word "play" in live build.

    Maybe you meant replace play with server browser and gather with Organized Play? That makes more sense.

    Play should most defiantly be replaced with Server browser. Clicking on Play when you're already in a server playing to open the server list is pretty bizarre imo. An embarrassing amount of playtime passed in the beta without me even realising that NS2 even had that feature.
