A couple of ideas for implementation

I haven't played this in quite some time, so I apologize if any of this is unneeded, imba, or already in the game. Some of these ideas were ones that came into my head while watching Mimic vs Singularity today.
1) Med pak drops from the commander that heal a portion instantly, and a portion over time. The cost of it could be made cheaper. The idea behind this would be less effective (and resource draining) while being spammed, but more effective if used effectively for sustained pushes.
2) Gorge is needed alongside a [drone] to build a structure. It can't build it itself, but has to build it like marines do for their commander. The loss of one player going into the economy side of it might provide a little balance in some of the rushes/late game (tweaking of different things would be necessary, this is just a loose idea). To counterbalance this, make it so that a gorge can instantly turn into another life form if they have the resources for it. To turn INTO a gorge though would take an extended amount of time. This would allow aliens to not sacrifice their aggression on defense when needed, but make tactical decisions on when they want to focus on economy. This would make the commander experience on alien side a little more integrated like the Comm side is on marines. Building times on alien buildings could be significantly improved too. Gorge already has pretty fast mobility, so getting around the map to help build might not be too much of an inconvenience.

On an added note, its another thing to clutter the com UI, maybe not the best thing.
How is 2 different from a drifter? If I read that correctly, you want more players going gorge at the start of games, which in my experience occurs anyway (for gorge tunnels, etc)
