ns2_sws_sphere

I copied the map ns2_sws_cube, I changed the cube by a sphere, but I do not know if it works I could not prove it, do not know how to run a server with the mod SWS.

It should work, the entities are the same, I think I did a good job with the doors! :P

But I do not know ... :(

I haven't looked yet (could you post screenshots?), but out of the current batch of SWS maps, Cube doesn't play as well as the other deathmatch maps because there is little in the way of objects and geometry to walljump from. Ideally there would be some kind of vertical structure rather than a large open room.

And you can simply load the mod on a listenserver by subscribing to it and activating it under 'mods' in your NS2 menu, and then starting a listen server. :)

I personally would like people to make more traditional maps at this point since the batch is still quite small. That said it is large enough to get an impression of what works and what doesn't. We experimented with making maps more vertical and it just doesn't work. It's all about the wall running and climbing steep/tall walls will just makes you loose speed and strip the combat of all the momentum that makes it fun.
Also what flat said about cover and objects.
