Anybody know where I can get the soundtrack for the NS 3.0 trailer?

From this trailer. Been completely unable to find it. Contacted Joel, but he didn't find it.

From what I've found it's created by David John and the song Frontiersmen was used. There is a song called Frontiersmen in the NS2 soundtrack that is pretty darn close. In the 2nd half of the song is pretty much spot on, just slightly different. My guess it was updated or whatever from whenever the song was first created for the NS2 release. To get the song you need to have at least the deluxe edition of NS2 or have donated silver or higher to reinforced.

I bet a few people clicked on this thread thinking you were talking about NS3, not NS1 v3.0

    (I was)

Thanks for the replies guys, but Frontiersman is definitely not the track at all. Doesn't seem very similar. Maybe I'll ask somebody to transcribe the music for me.

The song was called Frontiersman by David John, however, the version on the NS2 soundtrack is a remix done by UWE's sound designer :)

I don't know where you would be able to get that from, maybe it is in the files with the NSv3.2 client files?

I honestly don't hear these similarities one bit. What did he remix, lol? Maybe you could show me using this?

Yeah, so after hearing this, I can see where you're telling me it's exactly the same, and by that, you are talking about two notes(It's not. It's in a different key - Notes Are D/G versus Eb/Ab - a Half Step up). Two notes don't make a song, but whatever. Seeing that the similarities end at those two (different) notes, I still don't really understand where this talk of remix is getting us. It's clearly not the same song. Using an (allegedly) distorted insert from what you believe is the original doesn't make the two one and the same.

Anyhow, I suppose I can just try to filter out the game sfx with an audio editor.
