Nah, I didn't bother with that, it wasn't very impressive.
Try adding some low frequency perturbations to it so the glass looks slightly wavy, then as normal * view becomes small, blend in a light desaturated blue for the color of the glass.
Hmm that wouldn't be too difficult at all. Unfortunately, there is no way to tint the glass with one material in Spark. In order to get reflections and other colors on the distortions, you have to duplicate your glass plane and add a second material to it. Spark, for whatever reason, will ignore all other material attributes if the "distortion" attribute is used.

Last techpoint is almost complete, it is called subnautics
the map is very close to complete in terms of geometry and props. just 1 corridor remain and the map is all set. after that its just setting the map up to work.
1. my oveview does not match with my movements on the map, its as if the overview is 2x larger than the actual map. Any ideas?
2. When i jump in the command chair my camera view is below the map, i can just see the map if i zoom out fully but its unplayable of course. how do i fix this issue?
super minor thing that could easily been overlooked with the immense amount of details put into this map great work and cant wait for server to fill up so i can play it again:

2 - Place your commander camera entities higher.
2. thanks that fixed this issue but still my minimap is out of sync with the overview its all shifted to the right
as you can see from the image the overviews height is squashed but its width is stretched
the overview itself looks proportional, but the width movement seems far shorter than it should be so something is messed up
