Level and skill not updating

Hey guys!

My problem is that my level or skill does not update at all.

anyone have a simular problem?

I have made an account and linked it to my steam account - This did not make any difference.

T frost if you mean the hive is not updating stats it's probably because you are not on a whitelisted server. The only servers to submit stats to the hive are ones with no mods (possibly just game changing mods now not sure if filtered) and they have to have submitted a total 50 games.

Unfortunately, things like NSL mod are still whitelisted (WTF). Basically the take home message is this: 'skill' number means nothing, it is completely and utterly wrong in all levels. 'level' is a function of the time you've spent playing, so by all means keep pushing for the next level

Please read my posts before calling me out, i gave a correct answer.

In fact i would ask you to read and inform yourself at the thread i linked and similair ones, because your statement "The only servers to submit stats to the hive are ones with no mods (possibly just game changing mods now not sure if filtered)" is just not correct.

Many modded servers are at the whitelist. But i explained that like 20 times now, still seems like most ppl here ignore what i and other post.

To me it seemed like the answer you gave was about linking a forum account to get a badge. But I based that on the name of the link not the content, apologies.
Also there seems to be confusion about the whitelist and what is allowed on it, I have seen gold posts saying non-modded only, and also all but game changing mods. Not sure what actually happens.

Just for you XD here is what i wanted ppl to look up at the linked thread, (next time i'll copy paste it again):

Ok in generall only rounds played at whitelisted servers will count to your hive stats. See here for the whitelist: http://hive.naturalselection2.com/servers/whitelist

But here are some more facts about the hive system you might want to know:

1. By default all servers with 1+ mods enabled are not sending any datas to hive
2. There are mods like "[Shine] Ns2Stats" enabling Hive back again.
2.1 [Shine] NS2Stats allow you to easily opt out of any stats logging (either add a bot or just unload the plugin)
3. Servers get whitelisted by uwe if there are enought round datas (~50) and will then show up at hive website.

4. LVL represent how experiment a player is as it is based on the sum of scores.
5. Skill is the avg Skill rating reached in all rounds played . The exact current formula for the skill rating is unknown but it's based on w/l + k/d/a + score

6. If you find a server used by players to manipulate hive stats report it, it will then get off the whitelist.

After each round playerstats will be send to hive if player played more than 5 min of a round.
Exact datas are printed into the server log and look like this:

{assists = 5,nickname = "Ghoul",marineTime = 0,kills = 7,playTime = 483.76455432456,alienTime = 483.76455432456,deaths = 5,steamId = 49071975,isCommander = "false",isWinner = "true",score = 52,}

Keep in mention that the Skill formula changed quiet often in the last month and therefore is not final.
