V-sync doesnt work if you exit and join game again. Cheked. In DX 9 mode v-sync (double buffer) doesnt work at all by FPS i see... 27-28 and in game "cutted picture". In DX11 mode vsync work only if you join settings and press apply (If double i see 20FPS all the time and this is how it should be, about triple buffer it 27-28 again, but in caze of third buffer may be it normal?). But after i exit game and enter again, even with cheked previously double or tiple buf in graph settings, it not working.

About freezes - it all about textures... even 1GB video cards have lags. So, it question to developers 1) Just make it medium, not high. Cheked in all maps, freezes will gone like bad dream. About loading time i cant say enything. 6.30 min to load map fully. Core 2 Duo E7300 and 3 gb of ram) Question to developers number 2)

Question 3 - is DX11 mode change smth? I not see perfomance change or some new graphic effects... And yea, PhysX "work" even with my Radeon only card 6790HD.) Is this option will be deleted or PhysX integrated?)

Question 4 - Is game support DirectSound or OpenAl? And what about EAX?) NS1 on HL1 engine have this abbility) And this what i like...) Even more than graphics.)

    Its actually not about textures.
You can enable r_wireframe with cheats on, and you can see that you get freezes even with textures completely disabled. Its being GPU bound that causes the freezing, which can be caused by a multitude of settings or hardware. This is why lowering textures removes the problem. Alternatively you can enable Vsync (every single time u change maps) and then type "maxfps 60" in the console to remove any input delay and you shouldnt have the problem.. its annoying.. i know.. i hate it myself. Its an engine issue that cropped up lately and it is known (as well as the vsync issues)

DX11 does enable the DX11 API, which does allow for smoother frame times, and a slight increase in FPS, but its still in BETA and DX9 still has better mouse input delay timings.
    So its a toss up.

    Directsound afaik

So it developers problem. Not my. And yea - DX 9 (31-32 fps in menu) DX 11 (28-30 fps in menu). Where is smoother and FPS grow? About mouse input cant say enything. In all modes the same for me.
    What afaik mean?

Yeah this bug has been around a while. Really annoying that v-sync doesn't work without going into the options to turn it off/on.
