Can't find a way to run "One time optimization"

Hi!

To be short.
The first time I started NS2 I cancled the "One time optimization", and now I can't find a way to run it.
The game freezes for a few seconds every few minutes wich is really anoying.

I have tried to re-install the game, deleted the 4920 folder and deleted files from AppData folder without any luck.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

    optimization means 'run the game once so it can check shaders etc'. If you do not optimize it will do this when you loadup a map.
    So optimize saves time on first map load by splitting the process. Its not a 'needed' step for performance.

    Your game freezing is a different reason. Try without mods first as well as run techsupport.exe while the game runs.

    Optimizing actually does nothing loading a map doesn't do.
