CommanderNoBuild ?

Hi,

How do we prevent commander to build on defined entities (faces, props etc..)
CommanderNoBuild doesn't seem to be the right group.

    Did you ever figure this out? Sorry nobody's replied, but I don't know what to say if CommanderNoBuild isn't working.

    Are you certain the geometry is in the CommanderNoBuild group and not in a layer? This seems to be the most common mistake where these groups are concerned :)


    Props don't use the groups, they have a few flags on them in their properties:
    Commander Alpha 1/0
    Pathing Include True/False (no navmesh no build)

    Only geometry; not in a "Nobuild layer" but a group.

    Good thing i publish tonight. it'll be better than a thousand words to get a grip on the map isn't it ?

    The no build geometry has a little bit of distance between it and the underlying visible geo that you want to not build on, yes?

    The layers are called "RT west - xxxx"
    You'll see in a blink of eye, what i describe.

    I'm not seeing it. I opened it up in the editor, looks fine. Played it in game, and I can't build where I'm not supposed to. What's the issue, again?

    In-game you don't see a red "blue print".
    If i remember correctly you see the red print on official maps.

    Yes I do. The blueprint on my mouse turns red when trying to place it down.
