Fix this?

Cornering bullets? - Bullets "look" like they go arround corner, sometimes as a lerk you can fly around a corner, and then die, properly because the time from the bullets to hit, and you die has a delay. Very annoying.

Assault mines? - Marines can run into a flock of skulks, with a pack of mines, place them, kill all skulks, and dont die by mines himself. Very annoying.

Grenade Launcher - Makes no damage at all to a skulk running 1 meter away from the grenade impact. GL in ns1 was perfect. Very annoying.

Anyways, i liked the dmg lvls in NS1 much more, and i really think that when it comes to how many bullets and hits a "thing" should have, it should be exactly like NS1.

Skulks bite - You have to have the marines exactly at the middle of your screen to bite a marine, and the skulk have a pretty big mouth, so this makes no sense. If you put a marine against a wall, you can as a skulk actually bite the wall behind him, which makes 1 attack miss, do to the wall hit.

This i think, is also a problem with fade and lerk. So maybe enlarge the hit area, just a bit, so it actually matches the big mouth, the big claws, and not just a tiny dot in the middle of the screen.
And i also think this would help out when a marine is making the "elite jumping parkour pro shit" on you, or making the awsd quickie dancing.

HP lowering - Make the HP, when getting hit, fall instantly, and not like a timer, going down very fast. So instead of 100-98-95-85-75-50, like its counting down, just make it fall to whatever i got hit to, instantly. So if i got 2 dmg, make it fall 2 dmg, and not counting down , 1-2. It gives a delay, and sometimes as a lerk, it's hard to tell if i need to withdraw or not, cause the screen arent really blinking red before its too late. (Dunno if that maked any sense, its hard to explain)


This game should not end up like NS1 with the 1 guy dominating the whole map because of his binding shit, or whatever the secret is. It would be shame to see a marine outrun a fade like in NS1 with the jump backwards bullet thing.

    Your first point can't be fixed unless you can solve the problem of moving data faster than the speed of light :)

    I die to my own assault mines all the time.

    Without a jetpack, a marine can only outrun an onos and only if they drop their guns.
