NSL Maps have something that forces opposite spawns, i think it comes with the nsl mod? But i wouldn't install them on a server thats for public games, as the nsl mod comes with free friendly fire. 33% or 100% it still fckin hurts ass playing pubs knowing your shotgun/fade can be killed by some random idiot.

It's a separate mod than what the game editor provides. In the editor, you can specify "Marine Random Only" "Alien Random Only" "Either team Random" and "Do not use" for initial spawn points when selecting tech point entities. Ideally, a mod just for enabling cross spawns (atrium + sub, or, datacore + flight for example) without all the extra nsl stuff is useful. It is very easy to make a map have a team randomly start atrium or subsector every single time (on summit, for example).
I'm not sure what demand there really is to have that without the ability to cross spawn at datacore/flight as well.
On Summit and Descent either team can spawn in any of the four non-central tech points (there are mods that force cross spawns because close spawns generally don't make for great gameplay)
On Veil and Biodome marines always spawn in the same place (Control and Reception, respectively) while aliens spawn in one of the three other TPs (Falls is impossible to spawn in like all central points)
On Tram one team always spawns in Shipping and the other team spawns in either Warehouse or Server Room. Repair and ET are impossible to spawn in
On Docking marines spawn in Terminal/Cafeteria/Locker Rooms and aliens spawn in Departures/Generator/Locker Rooms
On Mineshaft marines spawn in Operations/Repair and aliens in Cave/Sorting. I don't remember if Deposit is a spawn room for aliens because I don't play Mineshaft much but I'm fairly certain marines never start there.
And on Refinery I'm pretty sure all five tech points are possible spawns for either team. However, I'm shaky there too since I don't like playing Refinery.

Locker is no loner a spawn point for marines on docking and on refinery, nobody can spawn at pipeworks, in addition, close spawns are disabled, so Flow control means no smelting for other team, and if you spawn in smelting, you know they are in containment. Everything else is correct.
I remember when it was possible to spawn in crossroads year ago. Good times
BTW, I'd like to see docking with all five points as possible spawns for both teams, with close spawns prohibited. Should be awesome.

Refinery is usually Turbine/Containment vs Smelting/Flow no spawn in pipe
