Headphones 7.1 sound,

Hey all,

I've noticed over the last few days, i've been playing since i got a pair of razer megalodon 7.1. that my front sounds in NS2 dont actually happen, (e.g footstep sounds on marines.)

I can't just simply change the audio channels to 5.1 either as the option isn't there.


so im not sure if there is a way to change it in the background of ns2 as no options are visible to change in the game menus.

I have a pair of Corsair headphones. They come with software to adjust the settings like 2.0, 5.1, or 7.1. Sometimes the software resets to default for some reason. I'm sure Razer has something similar. have you checked that?

i have installed the firmware for the headphones but not any Razer software. ill check it out. cheers

I have a 7.1 headset and have no sound issues.
