Broken MT is so fricken annoying... that's 45 RP down the drain and a lot of lost hope. Hardcode MT just like you hardcoded resource values!
As marine: anywhere on the map, if an alien moves, you should see little blue circles moving around.. similar to hive-sight
As commander: if you're looking down on an alien that's moving, it shows as little red squares skipping around, shame that the internet lag makes it skip along.. but hey, nothing's perfect.
If an alien tries to cloak within range of the observatory thingy, they can't.. they simply don't cloak. Of course, if they stay still, they're still not visible as blue circles/red squares but a marine can walk up and see him.
The MT'ing has always worked well for me
Is this a problem that Flarya is aware of and that he's working on fixing?
This bug and the Siege Cannon bug is the only two bugs that REALLY annoys me, would be great to see both of them fixed.
Scanner sweep is an ability the commander has. This makes a loud *ping* sound in the area it is used, and large blue circles can be seen radiating from the point of origin. This reveals anything to the commander - aliens outside of a marine's FOV, cloaked aliens, anything. I also believe it reveals cloaked aliens to marines.
Anyway, this thread belongs in the Tech Support board. Don't put bug posts in the Strategy forums.
