Hi Everyone,
I have read that some people cannot donate to the GoFundMe page due to only being able to use PayPal or that you do not want to enter your bank information (which is completely fine and understandable). Anzestral is someone who messaged me about this earlier. He asked if he could just donate to my RedDogTV PayPal link off my Twitch page and then have me forward that donation on to the GoFundMe campaign. I agreed and will also list him as the donor.
I then thought that since we are so close, there may be others in this predicament. I would like to offer this to anyone that is having trouble donating to the GoFundMe campaign directly. However, there are a few stipulations that I must list. Please read carefully:
- You must indicate in the donation to me that it is to be forwarded to the NS2WC campaign; as I receive general donations to my channel
- Leave a donation name for me to list. If you would like to remain anonymous, please indicate that
- You are trusting me to forward this donation on at your own risk (obviously I will, but I feel I need to put this here)
- ONLY people who cannot donate directly to the GoFundMe campaign should do this
- Due to this being an alternative, I will have to look into and confirm that you will still be able to receive the badge award via this way. However, you must understand and accept that it may not be possible.
- Being an all or nothing campaign, if it doesn't fund, I will send your donation back to you once I receive the refund myself. Please note this may take some time depending on the speed of the refunds
- Fees: PayPal takes a cut of any donations sent to me. To keep things simple, I will forward the amount I actually receive, minus the cut from PayPal. If the campaign doesn't fund, I will issue a refund straight back from my PayPal account to you, in which you will get 100% of your donation back (Read more at: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_account-refund-fee-popup).
I hope this will help some donors out there that have wanted to donate but could not. Every little bit helps right now and as one of the organizers of this event, I would like to help out in any way that I can. People may want to try using the gofundme mobile site as well, I had no issues donating through there (I used a debit card on both occasions I donated and had no issues, I'm from the uk).
So close to this now, it is the final push!
