hi all ,

well with a mate we started to work on some maps and we faced on our first work a problem with the layers.

actually on the map there is an invisible roof that makes the sky transparent and the com view reachable , but here is the probleme we just did a copy past of the first layer to fill a big area that did not have this roof (agora map) and we couldn't make it working like the first one is anything missing? if i flip it the view com shows an area like under a floor while the sky is transparent for the player on field.

so am i missing somthing around?

second question is publishing , i saw many posts around about it but seems that my version (the latest) is not the same we dont have the level or name box to choose or anything.
when i clic on publish it just show tow buttons , publish /cancel and when doing publishing it say successfull but nothing on the workshop.

so how to have an ID for the mod that we could make and how to publish the work to get it on the website.

thanks all for the help that you can share.

Well, you have to re-add the faces to the special group. And there is a configure button right there on the left.

Did you check the ouput folder is not empty and that there is not the .modinfo from the other project inside?

yep output is full with the mod folder and inside only the map and what the builder conceded to do i hade an error with the overview.exe but after test everything is working fine with those files so i assume it doesnt matter too much.

when i publish i have only select private/frieds/public and the Publish button. thats it. each time it says successfull but nothing appears on the workshop.

i have a server with 24 slots full 24/7 and they are waiting for those improvements so any help would be really appreciated.

That's because you need to click the configure button, and configure the name, and description, required for the mod, and then publish as public, or it won't work.

i did it from the begining but it did not work , hopefully i recieved the message on steam that the mod was published tooke a time dont know why , so now i can use the map on server thx for the help guys.

for those who look after some tips:

-first on config fill everything name / description
-put your file in output folder
-for maps create a "maps" folder inside put your changed .level in it directly
-do not use the builder for maps.

    hope it will help
