Gone from 100+ FPS in training, empty to 50-60. Any sneaky changes in NS2 code, or is it the driver? DX11, 64bit Win7, Geforce GTX 670. Anyone else experincing this?
Yes, a background process consuming resources cannot be ruled out, even malware is possible. I do scans, but Windows environment is such a jungle, one can never be completely sure with all the rootkits and stuff.

DX11 is still considered in "beta mode".
And if i recall correctly, the new Nvidia drivers are optimised for some AAA title.
Anyways, expect improvements as allways
Peeps in le knöw at le guru3d forum mentioned le new drivèrs are actually based on an older branch than le previous (bêta) ones. Nvidia delivers maximum lælz. Apparently it's not the first time it's happened either.
That being said, it sounds like your vidcard might have crashed and downclocked to "safe clocks" which is fixed by a restart only. Who knows. I play in dEhEx9 and haven't noticed any real changes in the latest driver. GTX 480. None expected really, pretty much 99.9999999% of their advertised "up to bla bla gain" usually begins happening in octa-sli in 99.999998% of situations, with a 69.9001% confidence intervål.

Same versions for me but then with a 570gtx.
'soon' but the epic 'my framerate dropped' posts made me wait.
