Possibly, but I'd argue an even worse design would be one that involved the game shutting right the hell down the instant a mod was updated so it could always be up to date.

I suggest removing the workshop folder on your machine and reconnecting.

Youll probably find it's already fixed itself, but in either case your workshop folder is in C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\Natural Selection 2.
