Hi,
this is the first map I worked on. The name is not final (Nidoking is the german name for a Pokémon...).
I wanted to make it at least playable before posting it, but the editor is so annoying atm that I decided to not map further atm but to show already what I got so far.

This map got 5 TPs, 1 top, 1 bottom left, 1 bottom right and 2 more centralized. I really don't know if this layout can be playable but I wanted to test a layout that is not common. I don't how many RT points are there atm but the number changes often anyway. And I think I will add a room/route between Mats Hummels and Doorway to make Monday at Work less important.
Note that there are no vents yet.

The rooms ends with the damaged trains. Though, I think the rooms might be too large or at least I should cut in in two pieces (the little one with the comm chair in it and the larger one where the trains are. Or maybe I will completely redo it, I am not sure atm. (well I don't like the look and geometry of the room, maybe I should really redo it). The marines start here.

This is the nearest rt location to the marine start on the left side. Nothing special atm, I planned to make this full of shops and fast food restaurants like it looks in some tram stations.

The other alien start location. Design inspired by the tram station Mundsburg (Hamburg again) this time. I really like this rooms layout but I am not sure if it is maybe too big and how to make it less open without losing the typical design of that tram station.

RT location. This room is maybe the biggest one in this map. It is wide open right now, but I planned to put many greenie props/geometry in there to leave the room very big but to make it not that open as it is right now. Design will be something around lobby/garden/wild plants/bio research. Maybe you remember the room in Dead Space where you had to kill those poison aliens that were sitting on the ground and had a very loud breathing to decontaminate the area. That room with more plants and less long shooting hallways was the design way I wanted to go.

I thought it would be a funny idea to have something like a gorge tunnel as a room. Pretty much something where the gorges break into several rooms walls and connect all those tunnels (3 here) with a kind of a small cave room.

This room will get more geometry and props filling it. Atm it is too open. And I think it is possible to arc from here the Xeno Research TP. May be too strong. As the name says, in this room the people prepare to go into Xeno Research room. (Will there any chance of a release of the map Discovery? I saw that one in the NS2 art book and it looks to have exactly those props and textures that are needed for this type of a room, also for rooms like Xeno Research)

I know, every second map got a room like this (same goes with a storage room) but I think it's because it fits very well in NS2 maps, so I got one too. Maybe I will make the lower area smaller to give commanders a better overview of the room. And I might have to put the TP to the other side of the room to make it not arcable from the bigger room of preparation.

Funnily on the left side a drifter CAN go from down to top but CAN'T go from top do down. On the right room entrance it can't go up but can go down. Don't know what I am making wrong here.

3. Cyst placement here (Xeno Research):

You can place the cyst near the RT here but when you do it gets build on the upper floor instead. Don't know how to fix that (well I could move the RT farer away from the wall but I don't want to).

4. Cyst to Terminal from Shinji Kagawa is not possible.

The pathings are there but he does not accept cysts there. However he DOES accept cysts when I am cysting from the north route (King's Landing/Gandalf).

    It doesn't look bad, but waaay too big, imho. You really should try to stick to the sizes of the current maps. It saves you a lot of work and increases the chances of having a playable map.

    Also, rooms should always have at least two entrances.
