Idea for Webs

My idea for the use of webs would be to make them a tripwire of sorts for the other Gorge Abilities.
1 - If you Launch a babbler baitball near a web all the babblers will attach to the web and become invisible and silenced. Upon the hapless marine getting ensnared the babblers would drop off and begin to attack the marine. This would make the web work as an early detection system (the marine would have to fire his weapon alerting any nearby aliens) and light damage mine.
2 - Connecting a web to a hydra would cause it go mostly invisible (not completely so positioning of the hydra would still be important and skilled marines could pick it off if badly placed) and not attack until the line is tripped getting the marine stuck in awkward and potentially deadly position.
3 - If a web is placed inside of a gorge tunnel when tripped would not slow the marine but eject him violently from the nearest exit.
