Application has encountered a fatal error.... every 10-15 min

Well this is unplayable. NS2 crashes every 10-20 min with a Fatal Error on Win 7 Ultimate.

running ns on DX9 Windowed Fullscreen on low resolution and everything in graphics turned off, even disabled Aero...

Any idea why it keeps crashing every game?

The same problem after 5-10 minutes of the game, even the most minimal settings. The game is cool, but this is a real problem, I tried many variants: installed the game several times, deleted the folder Cash,
checking the integrity of the cache in steam, rolling back the video driver, and much more, nothing helps. In other games have never seen this problem.

Im understanding your problem ( mine is WinXPSP3)

These crash randomly is hard case with a game developer

Imagine you can creat your own video games and its suddenly crash , you have to re-check thousand line of codes

When the game freezes/crashes you need to run this file, "\Steam\steamapps\common\natural selection 2\TechSupport.exe" and attach the techsupport.zip file that is created by it to your post. If the game hadn't crashed yet it will include a dump file in the zip which will make it considerably larger, you either need to delete the dump out of the zip (if the dump isn't needed/you have slow internet) or upload it to some other website and attach a link.

Based on the type of error though, I think dumps would help.

they should roll back the updates, till they know that they work, sometimes this is called beta testing, should not dump updates like they did, cause they need $$$$, already gave $$$$and now cant play without crashing
