Crashing with C++ runtime errors

crashing at seemingly random times this morning during the game: once as commander, i recycled an armoury and the game crashed. the other time it crashed i was a lerk roosting on a hive to heal.
attached is a tech_support.zip file. this hasn't happened to me since maybe build ~248/249

hope this helps track down the error.
thanks

need you to run that techsupport.exe while the game is still running, even if the screen is black.
This will create a different kind of tech support zip. one with a large minidump folder in it. Then upload / link the zip here (it might be big)

i tried that a few times while the game was still running, but techsupport.exe had this to say:

    HUH...ok.. weird..
well wait til after this next patch rolls out soon, fixing some of those rendering issues, hopefully will either fix the issue, or at least provide a way to capture dumps.

just FYI it happened again in the ready room post-game on the luckyfkers server (modded).
same results running techsupport.exe.. even tried running as "Administrator". ended up having to kill NS2.exe from the Task Manager.

at any rate, i'll wait patiently and let you know if the patch helps or not. thanks again!

I see you're using dx11. Had me a lot of crashing at random intervals when using dx11.
Not sure what the patch has done to improve dx11 but if you're still experience crashing, going back to dx9 would be my first bet.

just got the update patch, and it's still happening (unmodded servers as well).

and techsupport.exe is still unable to write that minidump while the NS2.exe is running :/
ok NedStar, i'll try using dx9 and see if it helps.

Argh.. ok i'm forwarding the issue of not creating dumps to the devs.
But in the meantime like the other user suggested, try using DX9 and see if it helps?
    Please let us know. Thanks!

I've been having pretty much this same problem - runtime crashes after changing a map and then upon loading thereafter. Seems to only have been a problem since 257 though. I've deleted and reinstalled NS2 and the issue continues. Best bet has just been to exit and restart steam. Tech support zip, which wrote the dump properly, is attached if anyone cares (31mb, sorry).

No update on this? It's still happening, more so than before it seems.
