Error: Couldn't initialize the render device Fedora 18 x86_64

I saw that ns2 was free for 2 days, so I decided to check it out and see how it played better than watching videos. I already had steam installed, and I have successfully run other games with it (notably tf2). I ran into a problem when I installed it because it "Couldn't initialize the render device". Further digging found that it needed OpenGL 3.1
I have mesa-libGL-0:9.2-0.7.20130528.fc18.x86_64 installed, which according to the official site has support for 3.1 I'm not sure what's going wrong here because I seem to have the correct packages installed to run ns2, but it thinks otherwise. For reference, this is my inxi output:
