Graphical Memory Leak?

Here's a screenshot of NS2 using 5.2GB of memory on a GTX Titan whilst in Direct X 11 mode.
When the game first starts and you load into a server, it uses around 800mb, then slowly jumps up over a period of time, easily reaching 2.1GB within 20 minutes of the same game and continues to grow until all memory is consumed.
This is an insane amount of memory usage for maps that are so small.

Perhaps it's all the water rendered on the new biodome map, there are few places where it visibly leaks from the ceiling, and it probably floods megabyte after megabyte of your VRAM.
that's pretty much right, it happens frequently near reflection and refraction intensive scenes and apparently only on the Veil and Biodome maps, it doesn't seem to happen on D3D9 mode and so far OpenGL, but I don't play on OpenGL because it's a good 50+ fps slower. (and the performance has sure taken a hit since last I played the game... pretend on playing it a lot more now)
I'm using the 326.98 drivers from NVIDIA's Developer Zone. https://developer.nvidia.com/opengl-driver
I only use fullscreen (not the fullscreen windowed) to play games on, it's something machined on my head from when I had my 3-way SLI GTX 480's that didn't work well at all unless you used full screen, but it seems to happen on both modes to me. It's random it may or may not do that, i'll be honest that most of the time it hits about 2100 to 2300MB (still think it's a bit high) and stays there. But you're right about the alt-tab stuff, it makes it a lot worse, in fact that screenshot Darkflame posted was some 5 minutes after I alt tabbed.
Here's some more screens for you dudes
I'm curious if you'd notice any difference between windowed and fullscreen windowed. Fullscreen windowed and fullscreen would be very unlikely to show any difference as fullscreen mode is not working correctly (a known issue that is going to be fixed as soon as possible).
I tried the game on my MacBook Pro (I know it's technically under spec because its 650M even overclocked above GTX 650 levels is just 512 MB), it runs fine but after that same while it starts to refill the measly VRAM Apple put on it all at once, so the game basically goes 1 fps every once in a while, runs at 30ish otherwise, even with all settings all the way up. I wouldn't really think most casual gamers would run hardware this powerful (lol), though I do admit 512 MB is a drag. Ran fine before anyways, last I played it was on build 249 if i'm not mistaken.
Need to tell you guys, I've been needing a game this fun for a while, and these changes made the game a lot better for me. This new patch is much more balanced gameplay wise to my eyes.
I gotta admit to something though, my rig's running on a pretty weak (5,6 rating on Win7) hard drive I took from my MBP, I had bought a SSD but couldn't resist installing it on my laptop...
