Updates can be clunky at times, mechanics don't always work consistently, and general expectations are not often met and rarely exceeded. But that is the exact nature of 8 under-showered dudes sitting in an office on red bull cranking out code, and I'm charmed because of it. NS2 may not be perfect, but its a process, and by evidence of their efforts to date, this game will get there.
Natural Selection just struck me as an ironic name. As I remember from NS1, the game went through many different versions as well, each version changing the nature of the game significantly. Its always... evolving.
