Likely Fix For Input Lag

Going through my settings post-253 I noticed the patch actually changed some of my mouse settings, namely raw input and mouse acceleration. The former is known to cause input lag in NS2 (contrary to it's usual purpose) and the latter can really mess up your gaming session if you don't usually play with mouse acceleration. I too noticed this lag after the update. However, after reverting these settings I immediately noticed a return to my usual NS2 experience.

Hopefully this remedies some of the issues people have been having.

I'm 10101% sure there is an issue with the engine and fooling with any option settings won't fix it

Use the shortest possible mouse cord to reduce wire lag. If you have a long mouse cord, cut the middle part of it off, and solder the ends together. If you have a wireless mouse, keep it as close to the receiver as possible. If you prefer a trackball, use a small one.

Not sure if joking or serious...

happened with 252, still had some with 253, but less than 252. doing voodoo with the raw inputs and mouse acceleration in the menu brought it almost back to normal. my way of testing is when i trace out circles, whether or not it feels like it's lagging behind. and now it's pretty good.

    I have done the following:
    - Disable mumble overlay
    - Turned off phsyx
    - Enabled mouse accel, turned off raw input.
    - Disabled mouse accel, turned on raw input

I now have no fps stuttering, no input delay. My overall fps is still lower though 120-140 down to 80-140.
