This is nothing compared to the public instant phase gate mindset. Apparently nobody has a working shift key and would rather camp around on a gate while losing the game instead of pushing with upgrades.
Now that effects mental health.
Commander must wait messages makes cysting more infuriating than these requests too.
Because you would rather push territory to instantly lose it? Without phase pubs can't even hold a natural RT much less a second Chair, and they die so fast on offense they desperately need those phases to reinforce.
Uh, if the teams are stacked like that already, phasegates arn't going to help you either.
That's not stack, that's just the average pubbers life expectancy. It applies to both sides until fades hit the field.

"pubs can't hold natural rt, let alone second chair"
I'm pretty sure equally skilled low level teams are not this much of an alien stomp. You are basing your assertion off the premise that marines in your average pub are always stuck in base on 1 rt pre fade.. which is obviously ludicrous. Even the lowest skilled player in the community is capable of finding the doorway out of base, and 5 newbies with lmgs are more than able to kill the one random skulk who got lost and serendipitously found your natural rt.
If you are basing this off your own commander experience, I would suggest spending the res you used on 'omg must get phasetech' instead on an IP, upgrades, resource towers, and meds. Maybe this is why your marines are being roflstomped to 1 rt in "unstacked" games.

No my assumption, based on playing 577 hours of pubs on both teams and commanders, is that WITHOUT PHASE pub marines are stuck on one base struggling to hold any RTs outside at all. Meanwhile if you have a phase up 90+% of pub aliens wont even attack the RT between the base and phase
