Hi there,

Some days ago I've been searching for some guides to learn how to command and something I've not been able to found was the Marine Tech Tree (well, I've found this thread from 2012, clearly not updated).

If you're looking for an Alien Tech Tree you can find this one, more or less updated.

That's the reason I've started to do my own Marine Tech Tree, and I came here to share it with you. This is the very first version, only structure hierarchy and cost. For the next version I want to add the upgrades of every structure and it's cost.

    As I see, Arcs and Macs are not structures, they don't need a marine or mac to build them. They'll be in a future version as researchables and I'll need to add the "buildable" items also.

    AA and Arc Factory are also researchbles that don't need a marine on the ground to complete though, you may want to make those visually different somehow.

    @Theck: Awesome work! Though, the names and res costs blend too much into the teal-colored bar IMO.

    @Cannon_FodderAUS: Neat! I like the color coating, maybe add a legend in the blank space indicating color types (abilities, structures, etc)?

    Thanks for reminding me, this was a project I started when 250 first hit because of all the changes. I ll reupload with legend, so others can improve it.

    I've been upgrading it a little bit. First I've updated the structure costs (not all). And in second place I've added the structure cost in every item to help people know how much they cost individually.

    Awesome, this needs to be updated, and possibly just included in a guide in the game. As it stands they have made enough significant changes to the tech tree that this is too out of date though. The big one that needs to be changed is you can build an arms lab without an armory. Super well done.

    Yes I know, but today I've not been able to do more than understanding the code, update some values and make the cost addition. I'll update the dependencies as soon as I can.

    This kind of interactive Tech tree would do wonders for new players who want to get "the basics" of the game.

    It lets people know the value and function of structures and answers the "why dont we have Exos yet question"

    Its a shame Imbalanxd got banned before it could be made into something awsome
