"Invalid data" error caused by mod(s).

I was getting "Invalid Data" error upon joining servers for a few days.
Deleting %APPDATA%/Natural Selction 2 folder did not help. Neither did validating game files.

But when I disabled all mods I was able to get back in the game. I don't have time to narrow it down to which mod(s) is(are) causing me grief.

In that case unsubscribe from all mods.
delete all your mod data in ytour appdata \ ns2
Also delete the steam cache as described:

If you dont want to do it one by one you can only mass delete it all.
Do know there is no other way

Also maybe try to post your log here, so we are able to figure out which mod it is

Thanks DC_Darkling. The link above has good instructions to clear cache and re-sync the cloud so it does not store garbage data.
The fix appeared to work. Now I can run the game with mods enabled again.
