attach location entities

Hello guys,
After several weeks of watching & reading tutorials and first testings / example room designs in the map editor...
Now I feel confident enough with geometrics and entity placement to start the creation of my first map.
But I have a question regarding location entities...
(Maybe it is written down already somewhere and I did not see it... or have it forgotten. )
I watched that video for example:
When I understood that correct - the location entities define also the "energy field radius" of a power node?
The question I have is:
Is it possible (and if yes - how?) to attach / weld several location entities to get a asymmetrical "power-radius / field"?
Because otherwise it will be hard to place power fields correct when you only have cubes to define them?
...
Also I have a small second question:
Is it normal when you load a "offical map" in the editor,
that huge parts of the maps are missing? (Is there a way to avoid that?)
Best Regards and Thanks

But to quickly answer your question yes, location entities also define power. You can name multiple location entities the same thing but make them smaller to fit the map shape etc... so you could have a lot of small connected boxes(touching at least) names Eclipse and everything enclosed in Eclipse will be powered.
2) The reason you only see part of the make is because there are groups and layers. You can shift select all groups and then click the little eye thing and make all them visible. You will most likely want to turn off "occulsion collision commander build locations" as those are big and block most of what you want to see.
Also a little tip before you load a HUGE map into the editor, go into settings and under one of the tabs (general or interface I think) decrease the "far plane" to about 15% so it isn't so taxing on your computer. There is a good value where it won't glitch out with the skybox and show it sometimes.
