Bug - (250) Get horrifyingly bad lag the moment I go Lerk

This has happened for several games now. . .
The second I go Lerk the game starts lagging uncontrollably and it basically turns me into a sitting duck since my lifeform won't move on the Server End even if I'm lightning fast to dodge
I'll be pinging about 30-40 on the server basically all day and then the second I go Lerk I get a yellow disconnect notice for minutes on end that occasionally spike past 1 second ping
This always leads to me dieing very fast, but this time I managed to stay alive for a number of minutes and basically just flat out avoided marines
Eventually it went away, but it's extremely terrible!
Has anyone else ever experienced this type of lag before?
I've seen the 999 server split where half the players get dropped. . . it's similar to that only I don't lag out and it is only happening to my client
(similar in that it goes on for about the same duration)

if so.. upload your log.txt after using net_log 3
Do your best to keep it short. I.e. join a game, go lerk asap.
Just before evolving to a lerk, type LERK in your chat, so theres a marker of when you go lerk.
Exit ns2 after experiencing the lag, then upload the log immediately.
