The Dark

I feel as though the game is too bright. I think that when a power node is taken out, instead of having red safety lights come on, the room should be pitch black. You should actually need to use the flashlight. Also, the lights should be off in every single room until the marines construct a power node. These are just my suggestions, and I'm interested to see if anyone agrees with me or if the safety lights are preferred.

    Then people would use their graphics cards settings to see in the dark like they do in lot's of other games. This would separate the players to those who can see and know how it's done and to the others who have battle in the dark.

    I agree with airman. However, I think the room should have safety lights on at first, but when aliens take down the power it goes pitch black and stays like that until power is rebuilt.
    Would be awesome for atmospherics and all that.

    No I think making it pitch black PERMANENTLY is OP since aliens can use night/thermal/alien vision (whatever it's supposed to be). However, I think that the time lights go out should be a bit longer and that the red lights should be a bit dimmer.
