Lerk Mouse Wheel Attack / Weapon switch issue.

Today I noticed that as a marine the mouse wheel switches between weapons just fine but as a lerk it doesn't seem to work. Oddly enough as a marine if you drop the pistol; leaving you weapon 1 (Rifle) and (Axe) weapon 3 the mouse wheel switch works.
The situation where It would not work was when a lerk has bite and spore /mouse wheel can't go from weapon 1 to 3 ?
Once you have umbra / weapon 2 for lerk it works, wierd.
-Minor problem really, but it bugs me all the same just thought i'd let ya know.
