Runtime crash when attempting to join server or load map.

Literally just bought this on the Steam Sale, already pissed. I've looked around and still no obvious solution that I can find.

When does this happen?
If you are able to reproduce it, please run techsupport.exe, found in your ns2 directory, while the ns2 window is still open (even if the window is black)
This will create a zip file with a folder called mini dump that will contain a potentially large dump file for the developers to quickly assess the culprit. You can use a free drop box account to upload and link the file to.

While waiting for that, you can also attempt to install the files found in your ns2/redist folder, such as dxsetup.exe or any c++ installers.
