Server list loading slowly

Refreshing/Updating the server list is really slow. Im sure it's not my connection since my ping is low and I have checked it out with http://www.speedtest.net/

Can anyone help so that my server list updates faster.

    Investigate steam 's server update rate.
    Steam, settings, download, server ping rate

    I noticed my server list going really slow when i hit the update button before its done updating the list. Maybe some anti-spam protection?
