249 performance issues

Haven't been experiencing any performance issues until this newest patch which made the game unplayable for me. Heavy stuttering when turning around and overall low FPS. Changing graphic options doesn't seem to have any effect.

Updated my graphics card drivers to no avail.

My PC specs:

phenom II 955 X4

gtx 560ti

8 GB RAM

    Hmmm, I have the exact same specs, and NS2 is running better than ever for me. Have you tried verifying game cache files, or just reinstalling?

    * when it is crashing and burning type "profile" in your console.
    * after a bad lag moment press "spacebar".
    * use "[" and "]" to select the biggest spike(s) in the bottom of your screen.
    * use your mouse to scroll up and down to find the longest purple bar(s)
    * expend these to the fullest by clicking on the "+" icon.
    * make screenshots of everything.
    * post screenshots here.

    I'm having grave performance issues aswell since the update, I'm CPU bottlenecked.

    Phenom II 1090T, GTX560Ti ; game is better since patch.

    @Pepi did you try verifying file integrity ? Deleting game cache ? Reinstalling ?

    Also, do you have any problem in other games ?

    Stuttering while turning sounds like a mouse related issue.
    Try disabling raw input from the options
