May we have a key command that allows a player to tell a teammate to weld the requesting player? I think this would be a good way to also remind players to carry welders as it is vital to marines.

    My strength is tremendous; I can tear entire buildings apart with my strength. But I also have a conscience, so I need a welder to repair the damage I've done.

    I miss the old system of Z X C for chat menus....

    It was a lot quicker to just push Z then 4 to let a local teammate know that you're covering him while he builds, prevents confusion to the whole team.

    Also, it let you move your mouse at the same time.

    It worked out better for a game like NS2 where there a many requests (like please weld me) that only a local teammate needs to hear.

    Fact, I knew all my ZXC binds; you could include everything in just Z/X and have vote surrender and etc in the esc menu (because sometimes you can't surrender when you're dead) would make things simpler

    i realy miss the menu too, it was logicaly organiced and fast to use, but u can bind most with the options menu > problem is you need 5(i thnik there are 5) different keys...

    btw we need an "affirmative" voice-chat-shortcut....thingy... you know its hard to let the other player know that you agree or to thank him for saving your ass or something....

    Agree with this. You can call for a weld as Exo by hitting Q but there seems to not be any way to do this as a marine.

    Marines can request welds already (in the BT mod), there is just no hotkey associated with it yet.

    And Gorges can request an RT drop at a near res nozzle at their location from the Khammander.

    In my current game, this voice command is suddenly bound to the "I" key. When I press it, the game says "Weld and my location". Too bad the "I" key is already used to drop weapons. The voice command key cannot be redefined via the menus. Cannot find the proper config file either. Please advice on how to redefine it, since this sneaky "feature" has made the game unplayable for me.
