So randomly in the middle of a game, the game froze and I lost all graphics---went pixel nonsense. This was a few days after playing in the new update. I assumed it was my GPU overheating, so I cleaned out the inside of the computer. This seemed to work, but after trying to play again, all textures disappeared. After reinstalling now I can start up NS2 fine, but still every item except for the background is invisible. When going into explore mode, it appears as though the objects are there, but invisible, as when mouse-overed it highlights the object. Problem still encountered on other servers. Other games still run fine.

Things I have tried that failed to solve problem:
system reboot
verifying game cache
reinstalling
updating display adapters--no update available
reinstalling after deleting backup

PC specs:
GPU - ATI Radeon hd 5450
Processor - AMD Phenom(tm) II x4 945 (3.00GHz)
RAM - 8GB
OS - Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)

Ensure your catalyst control center has NS2 's antialiasing (AA) set to "use application setting"
